• How To Improve Lighting With Your Cell Phone Camera

Ever see pictures on social media and wonder how in the world did the photographer get such amazing lighting, only to find out that it was all done with a cell phone. Like seriously, what kind of phone do they have that makes the lighting look so spectacular. Since I started doing more reviews and  making videos for YouTube I have been consistently searching for ways to make my pictures look nicer. I think I’m pretty good at adjusting the positions to make the pictures look nice, but sometimes the lighting just didn’t do the pictures and justice and I have to depend on filters to brighten up…

  • Elvive by Loreal Paris VoxBox

The Elvive by Loreal Paris was the most recent vox box that I received complementary from Influenster to test and share my opinion. I first tried Elvive by Loreal Paris after I flat ironed my hair during the holidays, and honestly I was not impressed. My hair still looked dull and wild. According to the description, my hair was supposed to feel “silky soft with a luxurious shine” and “no frizz”. Well I did not get that after the first use, but I also did not expect to see changes after the first use because I have yet to find a hair product that delivers instant results for my hair.…

  • How I get Free Samples in the Mail… Harvest VoxBox

Follow me all over social media and you will see I am truly obsessed with being able to try stuff for free. And the Harvest Vox Box from Influenster is no different. What’s a voxbox? In short, it’s a box full of samples that I receive for free to test and share my honest opinion about. Ever so often I get an email with a survey to fill out to see if I qualify for a new box, and then a few weeks later I get a box of samples or from time to time it’s virtual meaning that I don’t get a physical product shipped to me. The Harvest…

  • Storage Net Review, cleaning up the vehicle a little more

If you have seen some of my other blog posts, I’ve been on a mission to organize my truck lately. From the back seat organizers for the kids to the cargo space liners and extra pocket space to make our time spent in the vehicle a little less cluttered. My sister has been eyeing the seatback organizer that I got a few weeks ago, and I’m sure if she could figure out a way to fit it in her car, she would. Let me give you a brief insight on the relationship between my sister and me. First of all, I’m older than her by like a whole year…

  • Christmas Decorations with the kids

What’s better? Real Christmas Tree vs Fake Christmas Tree? It’s all I’ve been seeing up and down my Facebook Newsfeed since Thanksgiving. Now that Christmas is just a few short days away, I see tons of pictures of everyone’s Christmas trees, and I’m not very proud to say this because it makes me sound like a scrooge, but all the trees look the same to me. Don’t get me wrong they’re all pretty with the festive decorations and stuff, but nothing really unique has really stood out. I almost didn’t do a tree this year. I mean I love Christmas and all the decorations and all that, but between…

  • Cleaning up

One of the things that triggers panic attacks for me is clutter. It doesn’t matter if the clutter is at home or in the vehicle, I see it and I damn near lose my mind. Unfortunately spending a lot of time on the road with the kids mean that on any given day there is a lot of random stuff everywhere. It drives me insane! In our last vehicle I had backseat organizers that strapped on to the back of the driver and front passenger seats. These worked great for keeping all the small things the kids wanted every time we went for a ride. We got great use out…

  • Happy Thanksgiving 2017

Sunday! That’s when I decided I was going to attempt to make the turkey. Key word here is ATTEMPT. I have never made a whole turkey before, and the last time I tried to make a ham, that was an epic fail. Of course that was about 6 years ago, the first year Chris and I were married. He brought home this freshly cut ham and told me to cook it. I’m pretty sure my face showed how mortified I was at the thought of even touching this thing. That was the closest I ever got to making anything even remotely close to Thanksgiving dinner; and let’s just say it…

  • How to protect trunk cargo space from pets and outdoor activities

My family doesn’t have pets but between my husband’s fishing hobby, the boys’ bikes, strollers, bowling equipment and everything else that gets thrown in the cargo space aka the trunk, it’s a hot mess to say the least.   I can’t begin to tell you how much mud and crud ends up in the cargo space and it’s a pain in the ass to clean. Sure I can go have it cleaned out at the car wash, but Chris goes fishing way too much for that. We probably should invest in some stock or something if we were to get it cleaned professionally every time he goes fishing. There’s just no wiggle room in the budget…

  • Tired Of Missing The Delivery Person? Never Miss A Vistor Again…Unless You Want To.

Disclosure: I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review, all opinions expressed are my own.  Post may also include product links that lead you to a purchasing site. See full disclosure HERE. Never miss an important visit or delivery again!  Living in an apartment has it’s perks, but there are also the downsides, some that are just plain old annoying. One of the things that I despise about apartment living is not being able to make changes. Some things you learn to live with, but then there are those trivial things like the location of the front door and not being able to hear when…
